Flippyknows
means Filipinos Know. It is an online and on-site
community where Filipinos all over the world
converge to share creativity and technology with
each other.
Flippyknows is the brainchild of Miko Pepito
and Nityalila Saulo. It started with the name
"Flippynose" that was meant to be launched as a
Filipino inspired clothing wear back in 2003 by Miko.
Early this year, Nityalila was developing a movement
that would involve building a community where
people can share creativity and technology with each
other. The two soon realized that the name "Flippynose"
turned "Flippyknows" was perfect for the said
movement, having the combination of "Flip"-
the Filipino and "Knows" - the knowledge.
